Foundation for Animal Healing is dedicated to researching alternative healthcare methods (non-invasive, non-drug based) with the goal of improving the health and lives of companion animals.
This non-profit organization was created in 2015, and in 2016 the foundation received a grant from the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Foundation (AHVMF). to study Leash Aggression.
The pilot study was developed to demonstrate the ability of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) to reduce aggressive behavior in leashed dogs. Aggressive leash behavior is a frequent reason given by owners who request behavioral therapy or relinquish their pets to animal shelters. The potential for altering adverse behavior in both shelter and homed dogs with gentle, rapid treatment is immense from a humane viewpoint. The clinical trials were completed in late 2016, and the exciting results will be published this year (2017)!
Foundation For Animal Healing is enthusiastic about alternative and holistic healthcare, and will continue to seek successful treatment methods, through studies and clinical trials, that will help animals to heal.
